Classified jobs according to levels of responsibility and importance to the specific bank department. Conducted salary surveys, completed federal and state employee reporting and assisted in the preparation and implementation of the annual budget.

Participated in a 12-month program where trainees engaged in most aspects of a full-service branch. This included sales of a variety of bank products, loan application meetings, opening new accounts, selling insurance-based products, implementation of promotional activities and meeting goals for both sales and referrals to customers. Additionally, there was concentration on the accounting, analytical, communication and management skills needed to analyze potential and existing loan customers. This involved using computer models to spread and interpret financial statements, develop forecasts, conduct research, compile reports and make recommendations concerning loan review and approval. Training also included teller and financial services representative responsibilities, branch management operations, consumer lending, commercial credit analysis, leadership development, team building activities, business etiquette and ethics.
