As a server, I am able to use my interpersonal, problem solving, communication and time management skills in ways that benefit the restaurant and its customers. I interact with regular customers and newcomers in order to make them feel comfortable in a higher end restaurant, and act as a liaison between the customers and the kitchen. As lead server, I supervise other servers and hosts, while assisting them in whatever they may need. I also create the schedule and act as a liaison between servers and our executive chef.

Each summer I work in a cabin with 8-10 girls for two weeks at a time. These young women range from age 7 to 15, and come to Camp Mohawk from all walks of life. I also teach art activities, archery classes, and lifeguard at our waterfront.As Unit Director, I train, supervise, assist, and evaluate the counselors of the the YMCA Camp Mohawk senior program. I also lead off-camp trips with these counselors and senior campers, plan and lead group activities for 30-40 campers and staff, participate in daily and weekly administrative meetings, and act as a liaison between the counselors and administrators. I work at Kindercare Learning Center as an assistant teacher in the toddler classroom, however I often work with children anywhere between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years. I enjoy playing with children, leading and assisting circle time, talking with parents, facilitating meal times and diaper changes, and solving classroom issues. Unfortunately, this center location closed in December of 2016.
