About Alison Kestner
As the Vice President of Human Resources for General Shale, I currently have oversight in the areas of benefits management, recruiting, talent development, payroll and employee relations for General Shale and all of the subsidiary brands in North America. This includes Arriscraft, Canada Brick, JetStream, Columbus Brick, Michigan Brick, Watsontown Brick and Red River Brick. General Shale has been a successful business for over 95 years. My goal is to make the Human Resources department relevant and current. Our team works very hard on a daily basis to be a resource for our employees. We want to be future oriented, to have the ability to touch each employee and give them the channels to reach out to the right person on the HR team the first time. Employee engagement is very important to me and I want the HR team to be accessible from every level of the organization.
