I held progressive leadership roles through company growth from a single USA-based business to a global multi-brand business.- Directed and managed strategy and operations for international regions of EMEA, APAC and LATAM- Significant business transition initiative to re-engage franchisees and drive innovation- Successfully closed significant transactions, including re-acquisition of UK/Ireland area developer and strategic investment in FitStop- Grew international division to an all-time record number of locations in the midst of the global pandemic

- Responsible for all aspects of international development and operations.- Re-designed international development strategy, including evaluation of target markets, market entry strategy, transaction economics and realignment of resources to enhance franchisee experience and support.- Increased location development pipeline by 450 locations in first year in role.- Negotiated new master franchise for Japan, additional development commitments from two existing master franchisee groups and led the development team responsible for Snap Fitness and 9Round unit franchise sales across EMEA, APAC and LATAM.

- Successfully closed significant transactions as senior deal team member, including $120M refinancing and strategic re-acquisition of Australia and New Zealand area developer business.- Established company's first dedicated human resources department, partnering with company leaders to achieve strategic growth goals through talent acquisition and supporting up to 500 staff members on three continents.- Championed, designed and implemented employee survey and employment engagement initiatives to increase employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.- Collaborated with the board on managing risk and compliance, including crisis management, internal investigations and enterprise-wide risk management assessment and mitigation.

- Company's first in-house attorney; built a legal department handling thousands of transactions in 20+ countries.- Successfully closed major transactions, including majority investment by private equity, corporate club acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures and multiple investments in new brands and business units.- Provided legal counsel across all business and functional units, including commercial agreements, corporate governance, transactions, franchise, employment, real estate, privacy and litigation management.

- Advised franchisors in fitness, restaurant and service sectors on domestic and international expansion, franchise regulatory compliance and negotiation of international franchise transactions.- Represented public and private retail, manufacturing and consumer goods companies in domestic and cross-board M&A transactions, joint ventures and international corporate restructuring.
