It’s the little things that matter – I use my legal expertise, personal experience and love of problem solving to help lawyers deliver.I specialise in residential real estate. My team need me to keep them up to date on changes in the law as well compliant with changes in the regulatory framework in which we operate. This means assimilating large amounts of information quickly and delivering it in a digestible format, tailored to their needs and focussed on their clients. It’s also about helping the team get the most done as efficiently as possible. My background as an estates conveyancer acting on some of the largest estates in the country has stood me in good stead to understand the pain points in a transaction. I have always loved problem solving; finding a better way, a different system, repurposing items. My career has spanned the days of work with no computers to today’s world of instant communication and information. I’ve learned to adapt to changes and relished the challenge.Being a knowledge lawyer gives me the opportunity to tackle the law and experiment with solutions to deliver it – either as training to my colleagues or as services to our clients. I love to see how technology is evolving and to find the little things (and sometimes the big ones) that can save time and reduce risk.
