Responsible for the day to day operations of the 93 room independent hotel in the Fenway area of Boston, MA.

Managed 30 room hotel and lounge which opened May 2010. Responsible for all aspects of daily operations, management of the staff, guest services, property maintenance, housekeeping, account payables, inventory, payroll, scheduling, hiring and training. Actively involved in pre-opening of hotel including establishing procedures and standards. Helped the Hotel Veritas earn the #1 spot on Trip Advisor.

Assisted in overseeing the operations of a 20 room inn in the historic district of Marblehead MA. Managed the reservations, guest relations, extended stays, housekeepers, bar, and breakfast service. Handled inventory in the bar. Created and managed social media for the inn.

Responsible for all aspects of a small neighborhood café and gelateria. Created systems, set hours, menus, specialty drinks, training manual, and marketing campaigns. Managed vendor relations, inventory, customer service, hiring and training. Worked with the owner as he closed his doors.

Supervised day-to-day activities of an 11 room Select Registry certified bed and breakfast. Managed staff of 10 college students, in charge of marketing, daily cash outs, inventory and ordering, cooked full gourmet breakfast two mornings a week and managed property management software. Instituted Sunday Brunch service to the public to draw in more local patrons and create an extra revenue flow during slow season. Led inn to its first ever 100% occupancy month in August 08.

Assisted Innkeeper in running an 11 room Select Registry certified bed and breakfast. Created menu and a cooked full service breakfast four mornings a week. In charge of maintaining inventory and overseeing staff. Effectively performed my responsibilities to allow the innkeeper to pursue other career opportunities and earn a promotion to General Manager.

Responsible for taking reservations, assisting guests with concierges requests, answering phones and emails, serving breakfast, and housekeeping. Preformed duties on a level that allowed my promotion to assistant Innkeeper after graduating from UVM.

Supervised closing shift of six hot dog stands and two ice cream stands in a busy tourist town. Made decision of when each stand should close due to traffic flow, maintained inventory and organization of shop.
