About Alison Evans

A creative at heart with a head for strategy, I thrive on crafting concepts, then breaking them down into workable plans of action that get the results intended. I can be described as either a Strategic Creative or a Creative Strategist. It all depends on what the job requires. A proficient storyteller, I have the ability to craft creative ideas around brand objectives while keeping the target audience at the heart of all I do. After all, what’s the point of creating if you have nobody to appreciate your work?I get as excited about going deep on data and research into a brand or product as I do about creatively conceptualising and presenting the BIG idea to the brand’s stakeholders. Then I’m happy to roll up my sleeves and work alongside my team to bring it to life. It’s all about the whole picture. And that includes the, often uncomfortable, post-campaign analysis. As an advocate for “work that works” I know what a vital part of the process this is.I am comfortable developing and/or managing content for a range of deliverables including proposals, presentations, concepts, strategies, marketing plans and social, digital and print content and advertising. It is my experience that “the whole being is far greater than the sum of its parts” and, as such, I understand the importance of keeping a team happy and onboard. I know that great work does not require a great ego. I thrive in a creative team environment where I can facilitate or participate in brainstorms that carefully balance creative expression with brand and budget realities. I wholeheartedly believe that there’s no such thing as a crappy idea. Everything, with a little thought and creativity, can be turned into something great! Isn’t that exactly what strategic creatives do?Bringing ideas to life is a privilege. Good campaigns, programs and projects have the ability to inspire and connect thousands, if not millions. That is something that gets me very excited.

Listed skills include Strategic Planning, Strategic Communications, Corporate Communications, Creative Strategy, and 31 others.
