Its 24 pages housed compelling patient stories, informative bits, vivid photography and original illustrations (including the covers). My day-to-day responsibilities were far-reaching: consulting with physicians and other care providers, clinic managers, leadership and my marketing colleagues on health happenings; developing story ideas and content; interviewing and writing; managing a team of freelance writers, design agency, photographers, and print and fulfillment vendors; and overseeing distribution, which included a mailing list of 125,000 homes in northeast Wisconsin and throughout three hospitals, 25 clinics and other facilities. When I wasn't working on the magazine, I was drafting copy for internal and external marketing materials—anything from billboards to brochures.
