I have a passion for both technology and social impact. I am a serial entrepreneur and have founded and sold 2 businesses and worked across a variety of corporate executive and consulting roles. I have also worked in the Not for Profit Sector as CEO of 10x10 Philanthropy and completed post graduate studies in Social Impact.I love disruptive new ideas and how we can apply new thinking and technology to social problems and rapidly test and iterate to find creative solutions. This is what our team has done with Resparke. The Resparke program provides personalised music and video experiences via wireless headphone technology to improve wellbeing for seniors and deliver therapeutic outcomes for people living with dementia. It is a global innovation and we proudly pioneered the use of “silent disco” technology in health care in 2017.I am now completely focussed on all that we do at Resparke to use technology to transform wellbeing of our elders and to equip staff with tools to better support them as we face a “silver tsunami” . We work with aged care providers, government and a wide variety of partners from Universal and Sony Music, AWS to Meaningful Australia.Whilst we remain focused on metrics and research proving the impact of our program the stories and photos of amazing joy and connection that we receive each week continue to demonstrate the difference we are making in people’s lives and for me personally align with my mission of impact.I have been honoured to have my work recognised as the recipient of several awards and grants -including;2024 Global Fellow - Cartier Women's Initiative2020 Recipient - Federal Govt Female Founders Grant Previous - Finalist Telstra Businesswoman of the year, SHEO finalist, Westfield Local Hero
