All businesses start with finding a need in the market. I got my start in business in the health care and education industry. I had the opportunity to work as an in-home ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapist for an amazing family with a newly diagnosed child with autism. After a few months I found that this type of therapy was highly effective and life changing. Long story short: I founded Behavior Care Specialists and grew it from 1 location to 14 across the country until I established a partnership with the Family Treatment Network. Along my journey I’ve had the chance to share my experiences, successes, and failures with fellow business owners in various industries. I found that although the service or product is different from business to business, operationally, they are very similar.After I saw how my advice, and mentorship was restoring other businesses and changing business owner’s lives, I knew I needed to start OBOK Consulting. I’ve helped a restaurant avoid bankruptcy and start making a profit in 120 days. I’ve helped business identify where they are losing money and quickly stop the hemorrhaging of money while maintaining quality services.I work alongside of business owners to create a succession plan and maximize the value of their business before exit.
