I am a successful, experienced and knowledgeable investor and founder mentor with an extensive portfolio of stocks and funds. I am a member of a Business Angel network with ownership stakes in several early stage companies.My history is Project Executive achievements gained in the IT industry delivering complex multi-million-dollar infrastructure implementations for IBM in challenging global environments. I specialised in transformation programs in emerging markets and executed innovative, entrepreneur type solutions during assignments to South Africa and India. These experiences resulted in me becoming a master of many different disciplines and environments, which means I am able to quickly get into the mindset of founders and what they are attempting to achieve. I am able to make connections between seemingly random ideas that result in inventive solutions that can guide the founder to solve complex issues. I have wide-ranging people management skills and experience of diverse cultures. My philosophy was to create and facilitate an empathetic yet delivery focused environment, that enabled not just the programme to be excellently realised, but for everyone to grow and achieve their personal goals.When I am not investing or mentoring, my passion is wildlife photography. I gain deep satisfaction from studying and absorbing the natural environment and my photos concentrate mainly on animal portaits and behaviour. My gratification is with the journey and patience taken to capture the image and not in the publishing of it or the garnering of social media likes. However, my images have been requested and published in many different types of media.I gained certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
