Researching and writing about inclusive public spaces. We are working to educate planners, policy makers and academics about the physical characteristics, management policies and planning techniques that foster inclusive, lively public spaces.

Assisting Massachusetts municipalities with CDBG applications.

Working with the newly formed corporate practice on a number of sustainability planning and baseline energy assessments. Working on the Open Space and Land Use background research and recommendations for municipal sustainability plan. Conducted the Sustainability Baseline Assessment for municipal sustainability plan. Provided technical assistance to communities pursuing Green Communities Designation. Performed the vehicle fleet and employee commute calculations for municipal greenhouse gas inventory and calculated potential energy savings and emissions reduction for selected building retrofits and municipal actions.

Assisted the Town Planner with research and helped draft bylaws. I focused on Historic Preservation through Demolition Delay and the development of a Design Review Board review applications for new construction and renovations in proposed a Neighborhood Village Overlay District.
