Working in collaboration with Hospice Fredericton's interdisciplinary team, responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of all psychosocial services under the organization's umbrella, including: in-patient psychosocial care for Hospice House patients and families; psychosocial components of programs for palliative patients in community; and community Grief & Bereavement services.

As part of Hospice Fredericton's clinical care team, provide care, comfort and support to individuals and families facing advanced illness, death and bereavement in the greater Fredericton & Oromocto areas.

As a member of the national MHPSS team, provide support to ongoing CRC operations seeking to fill the gaps in the planning and delivery of emergency COVID-19 testing and/or mass vaccinations and to improve access to underserved and under-resourced populations. Duties include development of MHPSS programs, personnel training plans, and provincial/territorial strategies.

Provided information and assistance regarding Respect Education programs and services and developed partnerships with child advocacy groups, school district contacts, educators, government ministries and the general public to increase the number of children and youth reached by our violence and abuse prevention programs.

Facilitated the WITS Programs’ growth to more than 90 schools in Atlantic Canada by sharing information and resources, offering training and informational sessions, and supporting users through the WITS Programs’ online training. Continued many Communications Coordinator responsibilities, such as developing and executing the programs’ various outreach strategies through both printed materials and online communication via our website and social media channels.

Supervised and facilitated 5 waves of data collection from students, parents, and teachers as part of a randomized control trial evaluating the effectiveness of the WITS Programs. Continued many Communications Coordinator responsibilities, including the ongoing development of print resources, website content, and social media presence.

Helped to prepare the WITS Programs for national dissemination by launching a redesigned website, implementing online training modules for program users and creating Using Your WITS to Prevent Peer Victimization: A Resource Guide to the WITS Primary and WITS LEADS Programs. Committed to continually refining the programs’ brand identity and improving their knowledge translation materials.

Supported network communications with funders, stakeholders and current and prospective members by designing and managing the network’s website, e-Newsletters and RSS newsfeeds, and editing, designing and publishing major research reports and promotional materials. Helped the network achieve a 160 per cent increase in website traffic and 60 per cent increase in membership over a 19-month period.

Contributed to the mission of St. Thomas University's communications department in many capacities, including web publishing, writing press releases and collaborating on marketing strategies and the production of the university's major publications.
