As the CARE Team Specialist, welcomed and onboarded a mobile workforce of nurses on an on-going basis. Support included: HR, Billing/Payroll, and Tech Support using Freshservice, Zendesk, Zoom and Microsoft Outlook. Created 5 tutorial slideshow presentations to help nurses set up their account, submit, and monitor their reimbursement expenses on Concur. Supported nurses by creating 10 solutions articles for the FAQ Nurse Station. In addition, assisted the Communications Department by scheduling interviews for Nurse Spotlights, tracked communications via Microsoft Excel and brainstormed with the team on ways to improve and streamline NurseNow Staffing support and overall engagement and experience. Curated resumes and created skills checklists through the Relias software platform to assist recruiters and nurse applicants.

Assisted the Chief Operations Officer by scheduling and attended executive meetings with Chief Information Officer and Chief People Officer, booked domestic flight and hotel arrangements for travel nurses, and created an itinerary for the nurses. I assisted in one project to research about Medcurity software. Software platforms I used were Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Salesforce, and Zoom.

Matched nurses who want flexibility, fair pay, and freedom with medical facilities having unique and immediate needs. I interviewed potential candidates, responsible for onboarding, and managed new hires. Software platforms I used were LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed.com, Zip Recruiter, Google Voice, Zoom phone, Salesforce, When I Work, DocuSign, and Zenefits.

Worked during the school year and the summer as a Teaching Artist, Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher in a variety of camp and class settings designed for students ages 5 to 12 years. Class sizes ranged from 5 to 30 participants. Traveled to teach onsite at local schools as needed. Communicated with parents and assisted special needs students to ensure a positive and rewarding theatre learning experience. Interfaced with all levels of teaching staff to achieve teaching goals. Taught beginner level acting skills including: speech, movement, basic stage terminology, stage direction and character development. Directed 7 plays. Performed in 20 productions with professional/regional and community theatre companies in California, Ohio, and Maryland including: Livermore Shakespeare Festival, Palo Alto Players, Sunnyvale Community Players, West Valley Light Opera, Valentine Theatre, Greenbelt Arts Center, Kensington Arts Theatre, Zoot Theatre Company, and Silver Springs Stage. Was cast in Stillpointe Theatre’s production of A Little Night Music which was put on hold due to Covid-19.

While attending school to obtain early childhood development and education credits, assisted the children’s literacy department with office operations including: data entry, answering phones, making copies, scheduling appointments, recruiting and training volunteers. Tutored preschool aged children focusing on the development of their vocabulary, reading comprehension, alliteration, and rhyming skills. Tracked their progress. Conducted onsite testing of children's literacy skills at various preschools throughout the Toledo area and performed other field related duties including representing Read for Literacy at community engagements.

Greeted customers and visitors and managed the front of house including: ticket sales, will call window, and concessions. Answered phones, provided customer assistance, and problem solved as needed. Interfaced with Dragon Theatre management and performers.

Visited over 30 Santa Clara county elementary schools giving interactive presentations and conducting activities to teach children about the value and responsibility of water conservation, and recycling. Activities involved art projects, storytelling, singing, puppetry and portraying real-life author and environmentalist Rachel Carson. Wrote scripts, sorted and compiled leave-behind packets, and supported the program director administratively as needed.
