Alison has been a member of The Junior League of Tampa for the past 10 years. During this time she has sat on the Board twice: Members at Large and Holiday Gift Market Chair. Alison has served on numerous committees that support The Junior League of Tampa's mission of voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Alison interned in the sports department at WFLA while obtaining her degree in Mass Communications. During this time Alison interviewed athletes, edited B-roll, and helped with the Sunday Bucs Show on WFLA.
