Alison has 20+ years of experience developing complex marcomms solutions in public and private sectors, with a proven growth record of 6x. She develops integrated behavior change initiatives and sustainable ecosystems designed to improve quality of life for Latino and Multicultural communities. She supports mission-driven clients from initial campaign planning to the full execution of multi-platform initiatives designed to achieve diversity, equity, inclusion, access and belonging among historically underserved consumer/patient populations and the trusted voices who serve them. Working with valuable taxpayer and funder investments, she maximizes measurable results by identifying marketing and communications strategies to reach priority audiences on their journey via both “in the air” multimedia and “on the ground” outreach strategies, as well as outreach via HCN’s three (3) owned and operated networks: multimedia, stakeholder and health workers, which have a measured reach 8 million weekly. Alison’s portfolio highlights initiatives with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, philanthropy and above-brand Fortune 100-500 companies focused on health equity (vaccines, chronic diseases, infectious diseases, impaired driving, cancer, reproductive health, domestic violence, gun violence prevention, clinical trials), as well as social determinants of health (financial literacy, housing and homeownership, climate and environment, energy efficiency, civic participation, immigration, workforce development, and youth). Alison also serves as the Musical Director of Batalá North America and Batalá Washington, a 501(c)3 all-women Afro-Brazilian percussion group. Over the past 12 years, she has enjoyed curating performances with Batalá in endless community festivals, the Kennedy Center, carnaval in Brazil, and opening for acts such as Carlinhos Brown, Sheila E, Wyclef Jean and the Rolling Stones.
