As an educator my top priority is the growth of my students, not just academically but as a whole person. It was my goal in my classroom to create a culture of inclusivity, acceptance, and wonder by emphasizing relationship building between myself and my students as well as students with one another. I love nothing more than talking with my students one-on-one learning about their passions, worries, and dreams; then aiding them on creating a path to the future they desire. Trust, respect, empathy, and patience are key in my classroom environment. I strive to give my students a safe yet brave place to grow their social and emotional skills, where they know every mistake or misstep is an opportunity to grow and develop who they are and who they wish to be. This is something I look forward to continuing in my future endeavors. I love fostering growth and success in those I work with and hope to continue this in the future. I’m looking forward to working for a company who values diversity, individuality, wellness and growth in their employees. My parents always told me “Leave a place better than you found it” I have taken this message to heart and can’t wait to explore how I can become a part of and shape my future team and company.
