A serial entrepreneur and investor, Alison started her first business back in 2000, launching one of the first e-commerce sites selling high quality Italian artisan food attracting rave reviews from the top chefs and cookery writers at the time including Delia Smith and Giorgio Locatelli. Following the success of the B2C business, Alison expanded the business into a B2B operation with clients including some of the leading foodhalls and restaurants across the UK included Selfridges, Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Riverside Café, The Square, Waterside Inn, to name a few.In her role as the Chair of the Institute of Directors in Essex (2020-2022), Alison hosted and spoke at numerous business events with business leaders and MPs and facilitated mastermind sessions with IoD members. Alison is often invited to speak or host events – these have included: - Chair of the Beauty Leaders Summit in Paris, a 2-day event, attended by senior leaders from L’Oreal, Lush, L’Occitane, Proctor & Gamble, Guerlain, and many other companies in the beauty industry. Alison chaired and facilitated the panel sessions throughout. - Co-hosted an event with Oxford Business College, the oldest independent business college in the UK, and interviewed their long-standing and award-winning director, Dr Padmesh Gupta.
