October Afternoon designs and sells products for the scrapbooking and papercrafting industry. It focuses on original illustration and a vintage look when creating a wide variety of products for each unique collection. My role at October Afternoon was greatly varied and constantly growing. I acted as support for the rest of the staff as well as being in charge of my own projects. I was cross trained in a variety of tasks and procedures so I could lend assistance where and when it was needed. I grew into the roles of Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, Design Team Coordinator, Customer Service Representative, Administrative Assistant, and Project Manager – all in addition to the dozens of daily tasks which became my responsibility.• Provided support for customer service, sales, marketing, production, fulfillment, etc.• Developed and maintained relationship with certain key customers and partners• Managed social media presence – used as an additional outlet for customer service and marketing• Coordinated the 10-12 members of our design team as well as a monthly guest designer by creating calendars, working with the team and sales to put out the right message, provide prototypes, materials, and information to design team• Managed sponsorship and donation requests• Organized 3rd annual warehouse sale including inventory, arranging, and pricing product, targeting consumers and marketing the 4 day sale, recruiting and training volunteer workers, and acting as sale manager• Standardized office procedures (customer filing, order forms, donations, sales entry, etc.)• Helped orchestrate 4th annual online Santa Sack sale and sale of holiday kit direct to customers• Developed language for copy and product information• Proofed and edited samples before going to print
