I have been a kitchen and bathroom designer for almost 3 decades now and I have a passion for educating Interior Designers about the many details in K&B design, project management, and business. Whether you are a newbie or an expert I am here to help you. I have developed the Kitchen & Bath Design Academy where I focus on education, information, and implementation.Back in 2004, I opened a retail K&B showroom in Williston Park, NY. I never went to school for business management, I had no idea how I was going to do it, but I set out to figure out how to do it. I thought "If he or she could do it then so can I! I also believe in leaving this world with NO REGRETS. I knew if I didn't do this I would regret it for the rest of my life, and that was unacceptable. From there I set out and sought every opportunity to learn: I joined organizations, met sales reps, got involved in business development groups, and attended lots of conferences. I reached out before the age of social media, coaches, mentors, influencers, etc.I also had to learn about accounting basics. I hired someone to help me and it didn't work out. In fact, it was a huge learning experience discovering that if I want other people to do something for me I need to know the basics. This way I know if you are doing a good job for me or not.After I closed the showroom in 2009, I was continued designing from my private home studio. Back in 2015, I began teaching Interior Design Certificate students at NYIT in Old Westbury, NY. That was when I discovered how much I loved teaching!
