After completing my advanced diploma in User Centered Design (UX/UI), I was offered a tutoring position for students attending the course for the following year. In being a tutor, I was able to learn how others view problems and the best ways to explain possible solutions and outcomes to different people. Additionally, this allowed me to grapple with the content from an entirely new perspective - further solidifying my knowledge gained during this year of study.I have engaged with learner’s assessments thoroughly and thoughtfully to provide insightful feedback allowing them to hone their own UX/UI design skills whilst routinely testing and reinforcing my own knowledge. Conducted a comprehensive twelve-week Website Design course at Red & Yellow Creative School of Business. The curriculum emphasised the development of visually appealing, user-centric websites utilising low-code platforms. Students gained practical experience in translating design concepts into functional digital experiences, catering to a diverse audience including aspiring designers, entrepreneurs, and UX/UI professionals. Weekly sessions were conducted with comprehensive slide-decks providing deeper insight into the course material, as well as peripheral industry knowledge to help students meet their design goals. The course fostered a strong foundation in web design principles, enabling participants to effectively meet client requirements and build successful online platforms.

Acting as a key-player in the creation of a luxury short-term rental service powered by Lew Geffen Sotheby's, I helped shape the brand's visual and virtual identity. Having full reign over the creation and maintenance of the company's website has reinforced my skill in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Additionally, forging a brand identity from scratch has improved my ability to evaluate potential brand personalities allowing the cultivation of a unique and intriguing brand front appealing to target customers.

A local Real Estate professional contacted me to improve their cold calling process by designing a solution to monitor and manage various "sheets" of client and apartment block information. Their current system involves a variety of Google Sheets, which has major security and efficiency concerns. Users need to gather client information on one sheet, and mark down the result of a call on another. The goal was to create an application with different user types thereby controlling the flow of data and prevent information theft, while improving the user experience and simplifying the process.

I am employed as a fulltime employee to assist on the marketing and web design team at Sotheby's Atlantic Seaboard and City Bowl branch. Here I learned how to enforce brand identity and make clean and convincing multimedia items including; short-form video content, striking visual designs and brand-affirming advertisements. I quickly adjusted to working in a team environment as a co-designer and co-marketer, fitting seamlessly into the workflow to deliver high-quality projects.

I picked up a part-time bartending job for some extra income whilst applying for full-time positions and learning new skills. Although not directly translatable to the development and design industry, it has taught me how to operate quickly and efficiently under immense pressure. Additionally, I have greatly improved my people skills. I am able to communicate clearly and concisely with my co-workers, in addition to being attentive to a customer's needs. Additionally, it has taught me how to listen closely to what a client wants to be able to deliver a satisfying product.
