After 30 years in the publishing and non-profit sectors in NYC, I now run my own management consulting company called Meet The Future LLC. MTF draws upon my extensive management background in media, marketing and leadership for business and non-profits. We provide strategic consulting for business planning and development, sales strategy, fundraising & marketing initiatives.A few current MTF projects include development of the highly successful 700-seat Bull Run farm-to-table restaurant & entertainment facility in Central Massachusetts; NYC-Boston liaison for PagesforPeace.org; consulting on the US launch of UK-based MeetandJam.com; and acting as Conference Organizer with NESAWG.org for the annual It Takes A Region conference in Saratoga Springs, NY.

City Parks Foundation (CPF) is the only independent, nonprofit organization to offer programs in 750 parks throughout the five boroughs of New York City. SummerStage, CPF's flagship program, is the largest outdoor music & arts festival in NYC. As President, I conceived of and oversaw a record-breaking annual fundraiser in Central Park that raised more $1.2m in one evening. l was responsible for oversight of CPF arts, sports, education and community building programs designed to connect and empower citizens to support their local parks. In addition to managing staff and community building initiatives, I served as spokesperson to donors, constituents, the Mayor's office and a 40 member board, and had overall responsibility for CPF's $30m budget and goal to deliver programming with measured results that contributed to the revitalization of neighborhoods throughout New York City.

As CEO of the North American operations of this global media brand, I had overall responsibility for all endeavors including websites, magazines, custom publishing & travel guide books. Since its creation in London in 1968, Time Out has built its reputation over many decades as the authority on entertainment and culture, offering a comprehensive guide to what's going on for a global audience in their respective cities. I began as a local sales manager and worked my way up over 15 years through positions as Ad Director, Publisher, Group Publisher, and ultimately President/CEO, overseeing an annual budget of $25m.

Completed 2 year commitment as a TEFL (teacher of English as a Foreign Language) in Gabon, Central Africa. Member of the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers association.
