Before coming to Washington, Alison helped run a small hospitality consulting start-up based in New York City. In addition, Alison has served on the Board of Directors for the Cornell Association of Class Officers, has been published in Cornell Magazine and ATD Links, and was a contributor to the book "Leverage: How to Get It and How to Keep It in Any Negotiation" (Volkema, R. 2006). She received WIPP's Level 1 Federal Contracting Certificate in 2014, is an authorized DiSC facilitator, has been a featured speaker at numerous industry conferences and organizational events, and has worked with groups around the world to help them improve their leadership and engagement by better understanding the connections between their people and within their brains.
