Board Certified & Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in neurorehabilitation with a focus on evidence-based clinical practice. Passionate about addressing healthcare disparities and promoting health equity, I bring over thirteen years of combined clinical and research experience across the lifespan. I am committed to making a meaningful impact on healthcare outcomes and improving the lives of those I serve.Expertise developed in research coordination, project management, study design & implementation, with a particular emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration and leadership. I have successfully overseen teams, mentored students, and led research initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for diverse populations.Currently completing my dissertation for a PhD in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Motor Learning & Motor Control, my research focus is on integrating wearable technology with therapeutic interventions to enhance the quality of life and well-being of my clients, and use of community-based participatory research to address healthcare disparities and promote health equity. Throughout my career, I have written and co-authored multiple papers, presented at local and international conferences, and secured grants to support my work.
