I am an Art Education graduate of Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN. The art studio is a place of learning, exploring, and self-searching, for students as well as for their teacher. As an instructor of the visual arts I will be involved with my students, learning, exploring, and self-searching right there with them each day guiding and encouraging them to do their best, take chances, make mistakes, and get messy in order to grow as artists. Educating young minds in the visual arts is one of my many passions. Long-distance running, juggling, welding, and manning the camp zip-line tower are only a few of my numerous talents and hobbies.

Summer Program PhotographerCamp Omega May 2016 - Aug 2019Waterville, MnMy responsibilities were to capture all aspects of the camp experience by photographing campers engaging in camp activities such as canoeing, archery, rock climbing, cooking meals for outpost camps, and so much more. At the end of each camp session I would present a slideshow of photographs taken during the camp session. I would then burn these photos to a CD that campers can purchase. I also collaborated with the Program Director in choosing photos to be used for marketing purposes.
