• For this internship, I was responsible for calculating energy billings for electric, gas, water, and HVAC for many clients through the use of Excel and Resource Energy’s database• Work also included sustainability analyses and procurement reporting for several clients

Performed an independent research project of installing a TED monitoring system and an eMonitor that helped oversee the Hotel and Club Punta Leona’s energy usage along with helping install a wind monitoring station and photovoltaic cells for alternative usage of energy. Also, future projects were looked into to help the hotel save more money. From the calculations that were done, they could save $23,000 per month with only a few simple changes.

Research-based internship and independent work on the senior capstone project that included learning how to operate the algae harvester, using a spectrophotometer and centrifuge to find the optimum cell count for the algae strand, and investigating other studies done similar to the senior capstone project.
