• Perform purchasing administration functions internal procurements and inventory for resale.• Work closely with requesters, suppliers, receiving departments, and accounts payable to complete the procurement cycle.• Coordinate with vendors and shippers to expedite purchased materials; maintain proof of delivery files on material receipts and ensure proper flow of all receipted material.• Expedite and follow up on outstanding material requirements.• Interface with project management to ensure material planning, scheduling, delivery, and quality of material requirements are met.• Interpret and evaluate contract provisions.• Review purchase order, requisitions, statement of works, and quote requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with customer requirements, as well as existing company policies and procedures, and compliance within the FAR and DFAR when applicable.• Follow up with vendor to confirm ETA and answer questions regarding Purchase Order.• Upkeep of the vendor database including new vendor certifications, data entry and maintaining data integrity.• Negotiate terms with vendors and retain an updated archive of documents.• Invoice reconciliation.
