Throughout my journey I have translated +50 online short articles related to history, geography, archaeology and linguistics as a content contributor and proofread medical documents and manuals.I learned all the languages that I can speak as a self-taught learner starting with spanish, then moving to english and then to french and I did so through immersion connecting with people from several countries on platforms designed for language learning. Once I was able to speak all those languages, I found out that I could work as a freelance translator and started studying to become one. Before working as a freelance translator I have spent some years translating as a volunteer and contributing to a website called Quora, my role was to translate short articles originally written in english to brazilian portuguese. The years I spent contributing to that platform enabled me to develop and improve my skills as a translator as well as improving the languages that I can speak.I am currently pursuing a degree in Radiology (2022-2024) which is a medical field related to diagnostic imaging, focusing on MRI, CT Scans, Mammography, Bone Densitometry and others, I expect to use my knowledge in this field to help me in future translation works. I have also completed a Translation Mentoring and through it I have learned the best pratices for producing high quality translations and improve my productivity.
