Undertook a six-month MEng project at the Science and Technologies of Robotics in Medicine (STORM) Lab. My project focused on the fabrication of millimetre-scale soft magnetic tentacle robots for minimally invasive surgery.

Entrepreneurial Scotland’s Saltire Scholar Internship programme provides high potential undergraduate students from Scotland’s universities with internship opportunities alongside leading global organisations in Scotland and internationally. Between June and August 2021, I completed a virtual Channel Operations internship with Edwards Lifesciences Switzerland.

Worked in a small team to produce and fit a personalised wrist operated prosthetic hand for an adult recipient.

Co-led this project to produce attachable, 3D printed palm grips for e-NABLE prosthetic hands. Involved the analysis, reverse engineering and remodeling of open-source e-NABLE palm designs with Autodesk Fusion 360.

Involved extensive use of Solidworks surface modelling and FEA packages to reverse engineer original e-NABLE prosthetic finger designs.
