Following a move to Scotland for personal reasons, I ran the Project Office for the software product development function at Fidessa, reporting to the Development Director. I used my experience of large scale software program management to support the successful delivery of multiple cross team projects on a global basis. I established process and standards, and used data from projects to monitor overall portfolio status and how developers' time is being spent.

I led the team of 320 software development professionals building Fidessa’s core software products. Fidessa uses these products to supply market leading multi-asset trading, portfolio analysis, decision support, and market connectivity solutions for firms involved in trading the world’s financial markets. I managed a global team with development centres in Woking, New York, Hong Kong and Belfast. Experts in product and project management, technical architecture, coding, quality assurance and documentation reported to me.I reported to the Chief Executive and was a member of the Operating Board of the company.
