I am an aquatic ecologist with experience working across all of Australia and parts of South East Asia. I have designed, managed and reviewed major biomonitoring programs throughout Australia. I have extensive experience in fish taxonomy to species level and ecology for freshwater and estuarine species. I have also been a NATA signatory for freshwater macroinvertebrate species level identification and have significant experience in determining waterway health based on macroinvertebrate community structure. I have significant skills in data analysis including multivariate statistics, univariate statistics, and assessments with regard the ecology of fish and macroinvertebrate communities. I am the author of numerous technical reports that include, risk assessments, environmental impact statements and baseline surveys. I have completed environmental impact assessments on fish, including Federal and State listed threatened taxa, for water extraction, weirs preventing fish migration, construction in significant habitat and water recycling. I have extensive experience interpreting chemical and biological data as they relate to the Sate Environment Protection Policies and ANZECC guidelines.
