I have worked in training for fifteen years; during this time I have had a variety of roles and responsibilities. I have extensive experience of all elements of the training cycle, i.e. identification of requirements, design, delivery and evaluation of training. I have been responsible, both as an individual and as part of teams, for the development and delivery of numerous and diverse training projects. These have included both soft skills, such as behavioural and performance related training, and technical skills, such as training to support the implementation of new national computer systems.I have achieved the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Certificate in Training Practice and am an associate member of this organisation. I am PRINCE2 qualified practitioner and have project managed the development of training material. Whilst at Land Registry I was the line manager for a team of designers. I am a confident communicator, having delivered training, facilitated quality assurance workshops, represented the training department at project meetings, and delivered presentations to the Child Support Agency Board of Directors. I am capable of matching my delivery to the audience.I am computer literate: I have used Word to create training materials, communications and reports and in addition I have used advanced functions, e.g., Macros, to create training material templates to ensure a consistent 'house' style for materials. I have used Excel to create databases to manage projects (including costs), maintain learners’ records, and to collate and analyse evaluation data. I have a good understanding of e-learning techniques having used Captivate and Paintshop Pro software packages to develop and publish interactive e-learning training modules for Land Registry staff and customers.
