Key achievements:Wrote the “An Asset Integrity Management program for Rio Tinto” white paper, formed an Asset Integrity working group representing each product group and selected functions. Led the working group to develop the Asset Integrity program definition, scope, and program execution plan.Led the Asset Integrity Assessment process implementation across Rio Tinto's operational sites, where the assessment process identifies and evaluates integrity related material risks so that they can be reduced to 'As Low As Reasonably Practicable' (ALARP). This involved partnering with Risk Area of Expertise (AoE), Asset Management Centre of Excellence (CoE) (Sustaining Capital) and Processing CoE (Process Safety), to develop the integrity risk registers and enable the integration of the risks into the Enterprise Risk Platform and the sustaining capital process, overseen through a governance process. The Asset Integrity Assessment scope includes fixed plant, Infrastructure and mobile equipment across all disciplines within operational and closure sites. Through the assessments I provided technical insights into the existing design, operational and maintenance of assets including their critical controls and the identification of material risks to the site (HSEC and Financial consequences) leading into the development of risk reduction plans. Leading and participating in site engagements, to coach, build capability and drive compliance to the Asset Management, Process Safety, Functional Safety and Risk Management standards and frameworks.
