Shropshire Farm Vets Ltd started as a two vet farm-only practice in 2003 and now employs ten vets, eight ATTs and twelve office staff. There are currently five operational directors and eight shareholders. I am a clinical farm vet who has now largely transferred into a pure business role as managing director of Shropshire Farm Vets Ltd with responsibility for medicines, TB, business direction and management. Aligned with my role, I have been a part of Farmcare since day one and formerly was a director of XL Farmcare (Midlands) Ltd with responsibility for QA. Since region changes and Shropshire's enforced move into North region, currently I am a director and Deputy Principle OV of XL Farmcare (North) Ltd. Additionally I am a director of Obligace, one of the Key Delivery Partners of TB in England. Shropshire Farm Vets Ltd is a member practice of XLVets Ltd.   Qualifed in 1989 from Glasgow University Vet School and worked in farm practice in Yorkshire, Cheshire and New Zealand. In 2003, along with Tim O'Sullivan, we established a farm-only veterinary practice in Shrewsbury called Macpherson O'Sullivan LLP. We are a founding member practice of XL Farmcare Midlands Ltd, a cooperation of farm practices set up with the aim to win the TB tender for the midlands region.
