My Business “AM Tree Surgeons” specialises in Trade contracting to other Tree companies in the Tree works industry throughout the UK.I have Level 4 in Arboriculture and all the relevant NPTC and LANTRA tickets in Competence for using machinery, chainsaw applications and Working with trees. Further to this I have training in IRATA, IPAF, ALLMI, and 1st Aid and have Previously been an Arboricultural Approved Contractor (AA) I have previously worked doing Tree work in Sweden, Holland, Germany and Italy and have done over 150 competitions in competitive Tree Climbing Competitions hosted by The International Society of Arboriculture ( ISA ) Travelled many times to compete in the European and world tree climbing competitions in America.I've climbed trees now for 23 years and I’m very experienced in commercial work. I'm predominately contracted by other tree work companies to work on large trees which are dangerous, dead or situated in hard-to-reach places where they are often in compromising situations. I often work 7 days a week and can translate that to 100-hour weeks. I now own and operate a one-of-a-kind piece of equipment which was specifically designed, engineered and built to safely fell trees using a remote control. I’m talking about my 31-35m reach Fassi 820 Grapplesaw crane lorry on a short wheelbase 8x4 Volvo FMX chassis which was built from new in June 2020. This vehicle is a purpose-built machine with full manufacturing and type approval. I still undertake climbing and tree pruning operations, but actively seek to minimise the potential risks of working from height and use my access equipment like my 25m Tracked Mewp (Mobile elevated work Platform) and my Grapplesaw Lorry to allow me to fell and prune trees from a safe position 🌳 I’m very motivated and always available for my customers 24/7.
