About Alistair Mann

Experienced Chartered Financial Planner, with 35 over years’ experience.In 1987 I was medically discharged from the Army and a sequence of coincidences led me into financial services, where I discovered a talent for understanding technical details in Pensions, Investments and Tax.I was one of the first 350 UK advisers to gain Chartered Status when it was introduced to financial planning in 2006.In 1998 I established my own IFA practice, and I’ve been advising private clients since then; I’m still advising some clients I first met in 1998. I now work with select clients to develop and review plans for ‘Financial Freedom’.* Lifetime income to support their lifestyle* Capital security to protect their wealth* Enabling wealth being passed on to their familyMy speciality is applying technical skills and knowledge in to financial planning.In 2010 I learnt to fly Gyroplanes/Gyrocopters/Autogyros and in 2016 took the instructor course, I now instruct part-time at Popham Airfield, Hants and at Fairoaks Airport, Surrey.
