At ECS we strive to achieve excellence in everything we do, both for our internal and external customers. In order to achieve this we constantly review our processes as part of our Quality Management System. As Quality Manager it is my role to manage the development and implementation of solutions that can help to improve the quality of each and every area of our business. My role also involves the development of; the ECS SharePoint site, policies, procedure, training and marketing material, in order to deliver a consistence standard throughout our entire business.

It is my role to develop and implement solutions that help to improve the quality of each area of our business, as well as helping to drive performance and collaboration among our colleagues. This involves a wide variety of activities including: facilitating department meetings, coordinating projects, helping to improve ECS systems and developing our SharePoint intranet site. I am also involved in creating and maintaining the company website and branding material.

As a stock manager it was my responsibility to manage all area’s of the stockroom. For example stock deliveries, stock counting and house keeping. I was also responsible for health and safety in store and performing risk assessments and safety checks on equipment. It was also my duty to manage all areas of the store in the absence of the store manager. As acting store manager i am in charge of meeting all store targets, managing costs and dealing with all issues that may arise in store both customer and colleague related. As well as performing my stock management duties, I volunteered to join the voice operations training team. My role on the team was to visit Argos stores in order to train their teams how to use and operate the company’s new voice activated stock management system.

As a customer service supervisor i was in charge of the sales floor area and responsible for the customer journey. I dealt with any customer issues and complaints in a calm and patient manner. I was also a duty manager covering all areas of the store in the absence of the store and stock manager. I learnt to cash up the tills and complete our weekly banking procedures, held staff reviews and helped perform interviews. It was also my duty to produce the weekly colleague rota's and manage the stationary budgeting and ordering system. I also took on extra responsibilities during the year long absences of a store manager.
