Nearing completion of apprenticeship as bespoke English traditional shoemaker with master makers Deborah Carré and James Ducker. Carréducker have a concession at Gieves and Hawkes on Savile Row and are also at Cockpit Arts in Bloomsbury, London. Learning all aspects of the centuries old tradition including lasting and welting, and handsewn techniques. My apprenticeship is generously supported by QEST - Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Developed and managed public arts and culture events programme for opening of Park with local audiences and providers.

Responsible for development of new programmes of exhibitions and art events across the eight Royal Parks.

Ibiza, Spain

Whilst living in Spain I worked for landholding company to develop and manage an ambitious programme of landscape projects for a number of properties in Ibiza. Employing local expertise and knowledge to develop beautiful landscapes that conserved the best of the Balearic rural style and features whilst adding something special. I learned Spanish on the job and was responsible for finance, project delivery and ongoing maintenance. A key element was the rescue and refurbishment of a very old and neglected orange grove consisting of over two hundred trees. An extraordinary four years.

With a team of four we designed, managed and delivered a comprehensive programme of talks, events, workshops and residencies designed to offer inroads, discussion and enhance enjoyment of programme of contemporary visual art exhibitions. The Education Programme was focused in three main areas of activity; adults, young people, children and artists and cultural producers.
