I started out in the civil engineering field but decided to move away from that area after 10 years. I earned a Btefla and moved out to South America ( Brazil) to teach English as a Second/Foreign language where I also accrued experience and training in management, presentation and public relations. I ran business and language based workshops and presentations with clients such as Coca Cola, Ambev(Inbev), DuPont, Gerdau, Mars and Unilever. I also led symposiums and seminars at several Federal Universities in the Northeast of Brazil and initiated teacher training at several large Franchise language schools in both the Northeast and Southeast of Brazil.Since coming back to the U.K. I have concentrated on recruitment and began at Transline as a Health and Safety rep for their Amazon LTN1 contract and have been lucky enough to have been contracted by Adecco as Health and Safety manager but my duties are not restricted to Health and Safety but include staff training, allocation and on-site administration.
