My practice focuses on all aspects of transfer tax planning for high-net worth individuals, including closely-held business owners and private equity professionals, utilizing a variety of sophisticated techniques such as trust decanting, dynasty trusts, sales to intentionally defective grantor trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, beneficiary sales to grantor and non-grantor trusts and charitable lead annuity trusts. Additionally, I have significant experience in the creation and on-going administration of family offices, as well as the issues facing trustees in the administration of complex trusts.
