XS racing was created by Steve Perez,Jon Cropper JC,and Alistair Sutherland. Created the financial controls, and created the image of XS. Sutherland Rallying promoted Alistair Sutherland as a driver for Rallying in the U.K. Alistair over this period drove cars such as Ford Escorts, Vauxhall Chevettes, Opel Ascona 400, Metro 6R4, Mazda 323, Vauxhall Astra16v, Volkswagen G60.Major titles achieved. Rugby

Professional rally team working with Mazda cars uk, Vauxhall, and Volkswagen. The team ran the will hire 24 twice with Win Percy in a Mazda 323, ran Derek bell to first in class on the tour of Britain, won the class on the 1989 RAC rally running James Sutherland in an Astra GTE, won Over 12 rallies in class in the open championship and national championship in the Astra GTE . Mark Lovell drove the Volkswagen G60 on the open championship in 1991 for Volkswagen UK.The team was transferred to Gildersport in Selby,Yorkshire in 1991

1978/1979 worked at food fundamentals in Atlanta Georgia, working on research projects for MacDonalds, Wendy's, and Iceland seafoods. 1979 returned to E.T.Sutherland and visited whilst training all van sales customers in UK. ran the Wakefield journey delivering to 30/40 customers a day delivering the full range of Sutherland products. Developed products to sell of the vans such as pork pies in shelf ready packaging major success, fixed weigh cooked turkey breast sold into deli counters.A member of the team to take E.T.Sutherland onto the stock market in 1983 - oversubscribed 100 times.
