• Programme manager for all RN aviation Project Teams in the Middle East region. Coordinating operational, engineering, logistics, diplomatic, political and regulatory strands for multiple teams deployed at sea and ashore in remote locations. Ensuring successful service delivery to clients. • Delivered successful aviation programmes in five different countries and nine Royal Navy ships at sea, dispersed across the region. Responsible for coordinating aircrew, training, engineering, regulatory, diplomatic, political, and safety for delivering helicopter operations ashore in the UK and abroad as well as embarked in naval vessels from multiple partner nations. • Full UK Military Aviation Authority Flying Supervisor qualification. A comprehensive training programme that allows the holder to supervise and authorise the full range of military flying activity, including the use of airborne weapons and display flying.

• Awarded top student with Distinction on the Royal Navy’s Intermediate Command and Staff Course, designed to evaluate officers in their ability to understand and articulate the strategic context of their military role.

• 1500 flying hours in command and as pilot of a Lynx Mk8 maritime attack helicopter. Selected as the lead Service Investigator for a near-miss mid-air collision that the Civil Aviation Authority classified as Category A, the most serious type of incident.• A qualified instructor and examiner responsible for the flying standards and practices of all pilots employed within the squadron.
