The platform OneHub has been adopted by over a third of all licensed real estate agents in NZ, the largest industry community in the country.

Realestate.co.nz holds a unique position as the industry owned property portal for the NZ real estate industry.I was recruited in 2006 to develop the business and launch the website to support and protect the real estate industry's interests in the emerging online media space.Over the next 6 years I grew and developed the business into the success it is today delivering a vital service to the 1,000+ offices of real estate industry, serving a consumer audience of over 400,000 a month as well as over 140,000 on the mobile platform to better find, research and buy property.Under my leadership the business grew from nothing to a multi-million dollar business delivering profitable return to shareholders and providing the industry with a fighting and worthy challenger to larger and much greater resourced media-owned competitor in Trade Me property. The company grew to a total of 15 people comprising developers, sales, marketing and finance from a sole person start up.The business grew to become a respected web portal but also a valued and respected commentator and analytical resource on the property market and for the real estate industry driving innovation through online marketing and social media including the very successful Unconditional blog and monthly NZ Property Report.

Zoodle was conceived as a new service to provide home shoppers with the property information for all of the 1.6 million residential properties in NZ. Founded and launched in early 2009, the website went on to become the most popular property information website in NZ with over 150,000 visitors per month providing over 4,000 property reports per month.The company was established as a joint venture between Terralink International and Realestate.co.nz with a shareholding of 10% being held by myself as founder and MD. Terralink provided the core data and Realestate.co.nz the integration with the property listings portal.Through affiliate marketing, social media and PR the business grew significantly over the first 2 years to overtake the incumbent operation of QV as the most popular property information website in the country.At the beginning of 2012 the company was acquired by one of the primary shareholders Terralink Limited.

The company successfully started in 2006 with shareholders of Paul and Kelly O'Shannesey as well Donna Fyfe and myself.The company attracted investment funding in 2007 from KOneWOne at which time I ceased to be involved, although retained a shareholding.The company was placed in receivership in late 2010 and the assets sold. I no long retain any shares or interest in the company.

The role involved the implementation of the global outsourcing agreement between Fonterra and EDS. Fonterra operated globally and took the decision to enter into a multi year agreement to work with EDS in the outsourcing of IT infrastructure comprising desktop, communication devices and data systems and networks.The role required extensive relationship management skills working and building a team that in partnership with EDS facilitated the transition from in-house to outsourced operation.The role was challenging as the federated structure of the Fonterra organisation required considerable "sell" to business units of the benefits and processes of outsourcing - the financial impact of which did not in individual cases always deliver cost savings despite the considerable global savings across the country achieved through the agreement.
