In 2014 I decided to pursue my dream of opening my own studio/rehearsal room specialising in quality service and a product that focused on the musician. Whilst initially relying on my own personal knowledge of the music industry (managers/labels/publishing/rights etc) built through my career as a musician. I have since gained a deep knowledge of a wide range of music styles and their individual requirements.I am one of two directors, which means I have the opportunity to pursue a fulfilling day job, whilst still gaining experience of business management/accounting/building a brand/project management, as well as more technical achievements such as room acoustics and design.

Development and implementation of the operational and commercial services of Attenborough Arts Centre.Overseeing commercial activity including the creative learning programme, venue hire and the Attenborough Arts Centre shop.Leading, managing and maintaining increased levels of student engagement with AAC.Managing the marketing team to ensure consistent communication and audience development.Lead on the dynamism, sustainability, and development of the centre.

As deputy manager I received an extensive amount of training in restaurant management for a nation wide business, and was in charge of a team of 20-30 people. The methods I learned combined close market trend spotting, large team management and back office precision. As I left the company I was offered the General Manger role. However, I decided to leave the company due to wanting to form my own company, Still Ill Studios
