Event Management Internship - Streetchild World Cup
Charity Event held at the O2 in London. My work was to coordinate the pre event planning, preparation, logistics and supplier co-ordination. This included sourcing suppliers, negotiating rates - in some cases for the supplier to provide goods free of charge - with the aim of increasing the amount raised for charity. This was achieved through strategic use of my network of contacts. Other elements of the planning included marketing of the event, sales of tickets, collaborating with the Charity (Street Child Word Cup), health and safety, catering, event production, budget management, PR, legal contracts and artist sourcing ( confirmed acts The Wanted, Escala and Go West).
