My role is the web master for the creation and maintenance of their website, which is built on the Avada theme and uses various plugins to support English and French, WPML, CPT's and advanced user roles. The site is used by over 30 users posting content Canada wide.

I have over 15 years experience using various Content Management Systems for private business to the Government Sector, providing web development/design, security, plugins, integrations and migrations on the Wordpress CMS platform. I worked on various projects for the government Intranet and Internet platform publishing web documents to current W3C and WCAG2.0 standards. I currently have Enhanced Reliability clearance and would be interested in working for the Federal government to further my career and expand my knowledge and skills.

Wordpress Developer for the FGP Website and community hub Project. Current tasks include creating website documentation, AWS Congnito set up and testing for authentication, user roles and profiles display using AWS cloud API data and Wordpress functions. I also attend weekly scrum meetings and workshops working with other members of the project to create user profiles based off a cloud API.

My last post was in the Corporate and Forestry Support Division within the Commission, which deals with Research, Governance, Communication and International/European Union Issues. One of my main duties was to support staff in the arrangements of senior civil servant meetings/International visits, which took place around the country several times a year. This included aiding senior colleagues in preparing and formatting agendas/papers for meetings, co-ordinating forest tours throughout the country and arranging travel for civil servants. These preparations involved regular contact on the phone, in person, e-mail and setting up files for each meeting.Other main duties include maintaining/designing and publishing documents on the Intranet and Internet site using an Oracle and Lotus notes application portal, to aid me in this process I used Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. I also used further programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Dreamweaver/Fireworks MX, Outlook and Visio. Other duties included working on projects as they arise either as a member of a team or on my own, this can be producing presentations with the aid of Powerpoint, to maintaining and creating spreadsheets using Excel. Further projects included aiding senior staff on the preparation and proofreading of the Forestry annual report. I was also the departmental co-ordinator for promoting the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard throughout the division and help support the division on IT solutions. I have completed courses in Project Management, Web Design and advanced levels in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.I also processed invoices, journals and purchase orders on a daily basis using a package called Cedar financials, plus provided administrative support to departmental government advisors. I provided cover for other colleagues which duties included, booking meeting rooms, mail and other general office duties.

My position within this department was the Income Support section, an agency to the department. My main role was to calculate new claims and change of circumstances to benefit with the aid of a computer system or in some cases this was dealt with clerically. Other duties included interviewing members of the public in person or on the phone. I also had regular contact with other departments that include Pensions, Incapacity Benefit and Fraud.

Quality Assurance Technician and Internal Auditor.My main role was to make sure compliance was adhered to throughout the factory to International Standard ISO 9000. My duties included internal and external auditing, this included company suppliers to the factory, sales office, design, storage and the factory floor machine procedures. Other duties included dealing with customer complaints, measuring machine quality, laboratory tests and waste management. All this information is calculated and presented with the aid of Excel. I also had to maintain and update all the Operation manuals throughout the factory.
