Following the completion of the Nantwich bypass, MASS were awarded a contract to design a new direction signing scheme to keep through vehicles away from the town centre. I designed & ran the scheme for MASS as a subcontracted designer. The scheme involved;The survey of over 160 existing direction signs.Proposing reclassification of existing route numbers.Liaison with keystake holders.Formation of a new bypass, Town centre & car park signing strategy.Design of all new direction signs including posts & foundations.Assess requirements for passively safe sign supports.Prodauction of associated contract documents
