Directed by Mandlankayise Walter Dube, Silverton Siege is a feature film set in 1980.It was the first South African event to be covered live by the media. The siege saw three Umkhonto weSizwe (MK) members – Stephen Mafoko, Humphrey Makhubo and Wilfred Madela – hold 25 people hostage in a Volkskas Bank in Silverton.The three were on their way to sabotaging a Total petrol depot in Waltloo, just outside Pretoria, in retaliation for the killing of MK member Solomon Mahlangu, when they realised they were being tailed by police.

Blood Psalms is a 10 part Tv Series produced by Yellow Bone Entertainment for Showmax due to release in September 2021. I was Props Master for the show under Production Designer Chantel Carter and had the wonderful opportunity to conceptualise, design, source and manufacture all sorts of weird and wonderful items from trinket boxes to weapons to flame torches.
