Outerwear, Outerwear Fleece, Blankets and Head-wear -o Daily effective communication with factories, sourcing offices, and other product team members to ensure a smooth product development process.o Assist the Sr. Product Developer/Sourcing (Sr.PDS) in developing the product for each product launch. This includes:o Executing accurate specification sheets including Material Adoption Spec (MAS) on new and current producto Track all samples, fabrics, lab dips, trims, and tests reportso Working with the Color and QC team to be sure that product meets established industry and company standardso Assist Sr. PDS in inspecting, measuring, and critiquing prototypes and other sample submits. Making sure that all fabrics, trims and samples are tested and approved before production is started. o Set up tracking reports to monitor status of all product in development and productiono Ensure prototypes accurately reflect construction specifications. Review and evaluate fit and size specifications with the Technical Designer as needed.o Reviewing Tech Packs for sketch updates and information accuracyo Competitor design and pricing market researcho Assist Sr. PDS with color development including working with the QC/Color team to approve and communicate status with suppliers.o Monitor Lab Dip approvals with manager, factories and Q.C.o Assist Sr. PDS in preparation for all critical department meetings as needed, including: o Gathering information for reportso Collaborating ideas in a productive wayo Assist in preparing story boards for presentationso Assist Sr. PDS in open costing reports, for both new and current styles, and between multiple vendors.o Participate in product review meetings and fit sessions.o Assist Marketing by proof reading catalogs for accuracy. Brief and facilitate all development of product hangtags and labels as needed.o Work with cross-functional departments to relay, mediate and resolve all quality control issues in a timely manner.
