I also assist with governance, funding applications and general queries relating to a wide variety of projects. I am there to facilitate both ongoing and new projects to ensure progress and I promote collaboration and networking amongst likeminded groups and individuals within the rural community who can help each other and promote a more cohesive approach. Creating workshops for children of all ages relating to Robert Burns. Leading workshops of between 10-30 children approximately and coming up with activities to keep children engaged in the subject matter. Creating pre-visit and follow up packs for the teachers and their pupils. Getting feedback on the activity and altering workshops if needed to better suit requirements.

VOLUNTEER AND ADMIN ASSISTANT THE SANATA CHARITABLE TRUSTAPRIL 2011 – OCTOBER 2011Worked with a charity set up in Kenya to help a displaced community. Worked with children – helped with teaching, games and cooking, worked with women sewing and making goods such as beaded jewellery and bags for sale in Nairobi and for the ethical fashion Africa initiative with a group of Italian fashion houses. Also took part in the promotion of growing natural herbs and helped the project become environmentally friendly by taking part in a briquette making project as an alternative to charcoal. I also worked closer with the founder and answered emails and took on a role as her personal assistant.
